1) From ABC News, I’m Michelle Franzen. House investigators released the deposition transcript for Bill Taylor, the top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine. “The deposition transcript from Bill Taylor shows Tailor understood security assistance was being withheld to pressure Ukraine to publicly announce an investigation into President Trump’s political opponents. Taylor testified his nightmare scenario was that the Ukraine leader would announce investigations, take all the heat from that, get himself in big trouble and never get U.S. security assistance, adding Russia would love that. Taylor will be back to testify publicly on November 13th. __ __, ABC News on Capitol Hill.”

2) In the race to the White House, it’s essentially a four-way race in Iowa, shaping up between Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttgieg, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, but according to a New Quinnipiac University poll, according to the finding, the advantage that Biden has had is starting to dwindle, while Pete Buttgieg is gaining some ground.

3) California’s top prosecutor is going after Facebook, saying that the company is not cooperating with an investigation into its business practices. “California Attorney General Xavier Becerra says Facebook is under investigation for alleged privacy violations and that Facebook is ignoring subpoenas for information. ‘Facebook has failed to respond adequately to those lawfully issued subpoenas.’ In the statement, though, Facebook claims it has cooperated extensively with California’s investigation and says it has provided hundreds of thousands of documents. 4) Police say two people wanted in connection with the deaths of a New Hampshire couple were captured in Mexico. “Men from Utah were in connection with the double murders of James and Michelle Butler of New Hampshire. Among the gainers today utilities and real estate companies, while energy and tech companies were among the laggers. The Dow winners today; McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, and Visa. The Dow decliners; Boeing, Walgreens, and Exxon Mobil. The Dow falling a fraction, the NASDAQ down 24, S&P 500 up 2. // And shares of CVS Health closing up over 5% after the drugstore chain and pharmacy benefit manager posted the stronger-than-expected profits and raised its outlook for its pharmacy business, and its Aetna health insurance unit seeing business improved. And after closing 46 stores this year, CVS plans to shutter another 22 locations next year with the company saying that the move will generate enhanced longer-term performance. 1) From ABC News, I’m Daria Albinger. __ left the White House last month amid reported foreign policy conflicts. Now a person familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News that former National Security advisor John Bolton has been formerly asked to testify in the House impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Sources say he could provide a fuller roadmap into the Ukraine dealing with the President’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

2) At the Pentagon. “A total of six ISIS members died on the objective. Four were women and there were two men including Baghdadi. This is an addition to the two children killed by Baghdadi as he blew himself up.” U.S. Central Command Leader General Kenneth McKenzie releasing more details on the weekend raid that ended with the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

3) Just as forecasters feared, firefighters in California are facing extreme winds as they try to gain control over a new clap of wildfires. “These winds are fears, whipping up fires all over the area. At least seven started today alone, but the biggest fear in Simi Valley has been counted as the Easy Fire, which has burned over 1300 acres and threatens the Ronald Reagan Library. Wind gust hit 80 miles an hour, making it incredibly tough to fight these fires, but so far there has been surprisingly little property damage and winds are expected to continue into Thursday.” That’s ABC’s Jason Nathanson alive.

4) It’s day 14 of Chicago teachers’ strike and the union says it’s prepared to consider a tentative contract agreement. “On the stipulation, Chicago Teachers’ Union wants the Mayor to agree to make up lost school days at the end of the school year. The teachers have not been paid for the days they got on strike. The Mayor has previously said she does not plan to make up any days. The district could have to make up at least couple of the school days to meet the minimum number of days required by state law. Ryan Burrow, ABC New, Chicago.”

5) Stocks ended higher on Wall Street after the Federal Reserve announced the third interest rates cut this year. The Dow gained 115 points. You’re listening to ABC News.

 1) From ABC News, I’m Daria Albinger. Five hours after reset to begin, a House impeachment inquiry deposition featuring a key Pentagon official is underway. The delay was caused by Republicans who stormed a secure room at the Capitol, demanding to take part. “The Republican Minority Whip Steve Scalise defended the move as the Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy argued. ‘There’s much responsibility, we have to see the transcripts, we have to set the hearings if we have to cast a vote.’ A protest led to a five-hour delay for testimony from Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper who oversees Ukraine policy. 2) President Trump says the U.S. will lift sanctions on Turkey, calling a ceasefire with Syrian Kurds permanent. “We have it under a very good control. Turkey has done what we’ve asked them to do. We have tremendous economic might, far more than we had, relatively speaking, when I took office.” But the President’s special envoy to Syria is offering a less optimistic view. “U.S. Ambassador Jim Jeffrey offered advice on Syrian policy and told Congress that President Trump’s pullout will make it harder to fight terrorists. “The President was rarely aware that with the troops being withdrawn, we would have less ability to work with the SDF against the remnants of ISIS. 3) Pacific Gas and Electric spokesperson Jennifer Robison says the company is moving forward with planned power outages this afternoon for customers in Northern California to prevent wildfire caused by downed or snapped power lines in windy conditions. “We have about 179,000 customers across 17 counties who will be affected by the Public Safety Power Shutoff.” Southern California Edison has doubled the number of customers who may have their power cut to 308,000. A White House walkout; Democratic Congressional leaders say they walked out of a bipartisan briefing on Syria at the White House after they say President Trump started hurling insults. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressional Democratic leaders say they were stunned by the President’s attacks when they came to discuss Syria. “What we witnessed on the part of the President was a meltdown.” Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said the President told them Syria is Turkey and Russia’s problem now and then insulted Speaker Pelosi. “He called her a third-rate politician and there are communists involved, you guys might like that.” The House passing a nearly unanimous resolution condemning the President’s Syrian pullout.” Andy Field, ABC News, Washington.

2) House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy saw the meeting differently, saying it was more productive after Speaker Pelosi left. “The Speaker tries to make everything political. Her own statements were unproductive. To storm out of the meeting, which I’ve watched time before during other crisis, is really not the ability of a speaker or the style how a speaker should carry herself out.” The meeting came after the House overwhelmingly voted to condemn President Trump’s withdrawal of American forces from northern Syria. President Trump has drawn bipartisan criticism for the withdrawal which led to Turkey attacking Kurdish forces and citizens in Syria.

3) A senior Trump Administration official confirms to ABC News that President Trump wrote a letter to Turkish President Erdogan, asking him not to slaughter thousands of people and threatening to destroy the country’s economy.

4) Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the Senate will hold an impeachment trial as the House passes articles of impeachment on President Trump. “We intended to do our constitutional responsibility.” McConnell reviewed the impeachment trial rules for Senate Republicans, one of which is no talking.

5) Major indexes finished the day lower on Wall Street with technology stocks leading them away. The Dow fell 23 points. You’re listening to ABC News.

1) From ABC News, I’m Daria Albinger. Seven civilians have been killed after Turkey launched airstrikes at its border with Syria. ABC’s Elizabeth McLaughlin on what this will mean in the fight to keep ISIS from emerging. “Following the Turkey’s offensive in northern Syria, ABC News has learned operations against ISIS have halted according to a U.S. official. The U.S.-led coalition partners with Kurdish forces in Syria who are credited with defeating ISIS there, but it’s Turkey launched uprising airstrikes and artillery on Kurdish towns in northern Syria on Wednesday. The groups have been forced to defend themselves, driving them away from the ISIS fight. Elizabeth McLaughlin ABC News, the Pentagon.” President Trump threatening Turkish President in his, as his troops try to wipe out the Kurds, “I will wipe out his economy if that happens. I’ve already done it once.” The U.N. Security Council will meet tomorrow to discuss Turkey’s assault in northeastern Syria.

2) Former Vice President Joe Biden took a big step today while campaigning in New Hampshire. “The war of words between former Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump has escalated. “He’s shooting holes in the Constitution and we cannot let him get away with it.” Biden says the President has committed impeachable acts, and then impeachment is necessary to (quote) “preserve our constitution and democracy.” The President clapped back on Twitter writing “So pathetic to see Sleepy Joe Biden calling for my impeachment and I did nothing wrong.” Biden quickly clipped back “Thanks for watching,” and added “Stop stonewalling the Congress.” Serena Marshall, ABC News, Washington.

3) There are angry winds blowing in California this hour and they’re coming from the thousands in Sonoma County, had their power shut off as precaution by PG&E. When wind and dry weather created concerns, wildfires could be ignited. Right now the winds are virtually at a standstill, but meteorologists warn that they could get worse.
